David Chien

David Chien is an experienced professional in the energy and engineering sectors, currently serving as a Senior Load Dispatcher at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power since 2014, where collaboration with field crews and engineers ensures the delivery of safe and reliable electricity. Prior to this, David held several key roles at Bloom Energy from 2008 to 2014, including Field Applications Engineer and Installations Project Manager. David's career began in the United States Navy, where roles included Navigation Program Director and Division Officer aboard USS Jefferson City. David holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, obtained between 1999 and 2003.
