John Gregory

John Gregory serves as a Legislative Representative at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power since December 2018, engaging with a wide range of stakeholders including the Board, CEO, senior executives, and government officials. Prior experience includes serving as Legislative Director for Council District 11 from June 2009 to December 2018, where responsibilities involved legislative and municipal budget matters and supporting Councilmember Mike Bonin in various City Council committees. Additionally, John Gregory worked as a Legislative Deputy for Councilmember Bill Rosendahl, guiding the Councilmember through challenges during the 2008 Great Recession. John's career began as a Los Angeles Fire Department Explorer Cadet at age 16, providing foundational experience in municipal government. John Gregory holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Loyola Marymount University.
