Lorena Quintero

Lorena Quintero is an experienced safety professional with a background in occupational safety and health. Currently serving as a Safety Engineer at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power since April 2008, Lorena provides expertise to a workforce of over 11,000 employees by offering internal consultations on safety practices and conditions. Prior experience includes roles as a Safety Inspector at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works, where incident investigations were conducted, and as an Occupational Safety Compliance Representative at Employee Employer Assistance Programs, Inc., where quarterly safety assessments were delivered. Lorena is also a bilingual Safety Trainer, providing extensive training on various safety topics to numerous facilities to ensure Cal/OSHA compliance.
