Manuel Walker

Manuel Walker, P.E., MBA, is a highly experienced engineering professional currently serving as the New Engineering Associate Training Program Coordinator and Manager of Emerging Tech at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power since 2009. With a background in overseeing operations at major external power facilities, including the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station and various renewable wind energy facilities, Manuel has honed skills in evaluating operational and maintenance challenges. Prior experience includes roles as Electrical Commodities Analyst and Resource Planner for the City of Los Angeles, as well as Associate Mechanical Engineer at Carter Cryogenics. Manuel holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Riverside, complemented by an Associate's Degree in Mathematics from El Camino College.
