Marena William

Marena William, P.E. serves as the Project Controls and Engineering Manager at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, where responsibilities include managing the Project Controls and Coordination section to assist Division groups with customer meetings and performance metrics. With extensive experience at the same organization from 2017 to 2024, Marena held roles such as New Business Development Lead, overseeing 1,100 projects focused on customer service and safety, and Renewables Operating Agent, managing large-scale renewable assets. Marena previously worked as a Project Manager for EV Infrastructure, contributing to the construction of 400 EV stations, and as an Electrical Engineering Associate across multiple LADWP Power System groups. Earlier career experience includes roles as a Field Distribution Engineer at Southern California Edison and as an Electrical Engineering Assistant at the Port of Los Angeles. Marena holds an MBA from USC Marshall School of Business and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach.
