Michael Simpson

Michael Simpson, PMP, P.E. is a Civil Engineering Associate II at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, where responsibilities include preparing project initiation packages for water regulatory and pump stations, as well as assessing external project impacts on LADWP Power infrastructure. Michael is also a professional delegate for the LADWP NSBE Chapter, actively participating in community outreach. Prior experience includes leadership positions within the National Society of Black Engineers and various internships that provided practical experience in engineering and project management. Michael holds a Master’s Degree in Green Technologies from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Dayton.
