Mike Tyner

Mike Tyner, MBA, serves as an Information Systems Manager II at LADWP since May 2007, with a focus on enterprise security, including IBM QRadar SIEM management and incident response, supported by multiple certifications such as GSEC, GCIA, and GPEN. Previously, Mike held various roles at LADWP, including System Programmer for Cyber Security and Hardware Infrastructure, as well as Systems Analyst for help desk support. Prior experience includes serving as Systems Analyst II at Los Angeles Public Library and as Geek Squad Senior at Best Buy, where management of a team of technicians was a key responsibility. Mike obtained an MBA in Finance from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School and a BA in Information Technology from California State University, Fullerton.
