Nathan Jones

Nathan Jones is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as a Load Dispatcher at the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power since January 2014, following a progression from Load Dispatcher Trainee. Prior experience includes a tenure at Southern California Edison from January 2007 to January 2014, where Nathan held roles such as Transmission System Operator and Nuclear Control Operator, successfully organizing teams for complex plant operations. Nathan also worked as a Nuclear Plant Equipment Operator, being qualified in all SONGS NPEO watch stations. Earlier career experience includes serving in the US Navy from February 2002 to January 2006 as an Electrician's Mate (Nuclear), with responsibilities for operations and maintenance of various electrical systems and a comprehensive understanding of nuclear reactor operations.
