Vaughn Minassian

Vaughn Minassian is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in municipal law. Since 2010, Vaughn has served as Deputy City Attorney for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, providing counsel on a range of transactional, regulatory, and litigation matters, with notable achievements including the negotiation of multiple renewable energy power purchase agreements valued in billions. Prior to this role, Vaughn was a Deputy City Attorney for the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office from 2002 to 2010, specializing in environmental crimes and serving as a criminal prosecutor. Vaughn holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy and Music from Tufts University.
