John Leahy

John Leahy has extensive experience in engineering project management and process improvement, primarily at Laerdal Medical since December 2009, where responsibilities include overseeing manufacturing procedures, new materials selection, testing, and implementation as an Engineering Project Manager. Previously, John worked as a Process Improvement Engineer Level 1, focusing on manufacturing procedures and developing test equipment for assembly lines. Between August 2007 and August 2009, John held the position of Manufacturing Support Engineer/Engineering Co-Op, enhancing manufacturing quality and efficiency through engineering changes and production techniques such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing. Early career experience includes a Sales Representative Intern role at Southwestern Company and a Web Designer/Editor position at Corporación M&L. John holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, earned in 2009.
