Nitin Gurram

Nitin Gurram is an experienced industrial designer with a demonstrated history in the intersection of education and healthcare, currently serving as Industrial Designer II at Laerdal Medical since February 2021, where there is a focus on designing high-fidelity obstetric simulators. Previous experience includes roles as an Industrial Designer at Manus VR, developing high-fidelity data gloves, and as a Graduate Student at Zimmer Biomet, contributing to the development of a training simulator for knee replacement surgery. Nitin also has experience as a Disruptive Innovator at Unilever, working on plant-based dressings, and as a design intern in various healthcare and technological firms. Nitin holds a Master of Science in Integrated Product Design from Delft University of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology. Notably, Nitin was awarded the Reddot Award in 2020.
