LAFAZA

Based in Madagascar and the USA, Lafaza offers high-quality Madagascar vanilla and spices to customers around the world. We partner directly with a growing network of Madagascar producer cooperatives using our sustainable direct trade model. We currently work on supply chains for vanilla beans, black pepper, cloves, Ceylon cinnamon, and pink peppercorns. Most are Organic and/or Fair Trade certified. Lafaza is based in Madagascar and Albany, California USA. Our Lafaza brand vanilla beans, extracts, and pure ground vanilla highlight the deep flavor of Madagascar Bourbon vanilla beans grown in dense agroforestry systems, prepared by highly skilled curers. Our products are available for retail, foodservice, and bulk/manufacturing customers. The retail Lafaza product line is distributed in the US by KeHE Distributors and Associated Buyers. FOB export shipments are available from Madagascar to international customers. Lafaza is committed to sustainability in our supply chains. We are passionate about building capacity and environmental stewardship among rural grower communities. Lafaza has partnered with or received support from US Peace Corps, Wildlife Conservation Society, Catholic Relief Services, USAID, the Swedish Innovations Against Poverty Grant Program, IFC's PEP Export Program in Madagascar, U.N.
