Brian R. Handler

Brian R. Handler is currently the Lead Environment Artist at LAIKA Studios and previously served as a Senior Layout Technical Director at Wētā FX, contributing to major film projects such as "Avatar: The Way of Water" and "Guardians of the Galaxy 3." They hold a Bachelor of Arts in Electronic Media Production from Kent State University and are pursuing a Master of Arts/Master of Science in Telecommunications at Ball State University. With extensive experience in leadership, team building, and technical artistry, Brian excels in areas such as procedural set dressing and CG lighting. Their diverse skill set includes proficiency in various software tools and a commitment to optimizing production workflows.
