Sid Tucker has extensive experience in the fields of marketing and puppet fabrication, currently serving as Lead Marketing/Archive Puppet Restoration at LAIKA, LLC since 2007. In this pioneering role, Sid developed essential systems and a custom database for managing character assets from over 800 projects, enhancing the studio's organizational capacity for marketing efforts. Previous positions include Armaturist on notable films such as Paranorman and Kubo, where Sid specialized in designing character armatures, and Puppet Fabrication on Coraline, focusing on casting and maintenance. Prior to LAIKA, Sid held leadership roles at David Schlicker Stained Glass and Savoy Studios, overseeing complex restoration projects and innovative fabrication techniques. Sid holds a BFA in Figurative Sculpture and Stop Motion Animation from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
