John Rawes

John Rawes is a Technical Leader for Buildings at Laing O'Rourke, where they have worked on significant projects such as Oxford Westgate and Heathrow T2A since 2017. Prior to this role, John served as a Senior Project Manager at Lend Lease from 1995 to 2003, overseeing notable developments including Battersea Power Station. Earlier in their career, they were a Structural Associate at Arup from 1980 to 1995, contributing to major projects like Heathrow T4 and the University of Qatar. John holds a Master of Science in Foundations and Advanced Structures from the University of Southampton and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Civil Engineering from the University of Leeds.
