Mark Leigh

Mark Leigh is an experienced professional in planning and project controls, currently serving as the Head of Planning & Project Controls at Laing O'Rourke since February 2014. Key responsibilities include tender planning, project planning, governance, risk management, and talent development. Notably, Mark was the Project Services Director for the Inland Rail Civil Works Program from 2022 to 2023, overseeing significant infrastructure projects across the NSW and QLD border. Prior to this, Mark held the position of Manager, Controls & Planning at CPB Contractors, managing project controls in various sectors. Mark's career began in 1996, with roles at Laing O'Rourke and a foundational traineeship. Mark holds advanced qualifications in Building Studies with Construction Management and completed an Executive Leadership Development Programme at Imperial College London.
