Sunil Halai

Sunil Halai is a seasoned civil engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Edith Cowan University. Currently serving as a Site Engineer at Laing O'Rourke since August 2022, Sunil is involved in the MELConnx project for the Morley Ellenbrook Line. Previously, Sunil worked as a Graduate Civil Engineer at WSP in Australia, contributing to significant projects including the Scarborough to Mitchell Evolution Alliance and various tender phases for the Smart Freeway and Armadale Level Crossing Removal. Additionally, Sunil gained managerial experience as a Night Manager at IGA, INC., overseeing operations and staff training, and held a position as a Site Engineer at A & M Construction Group, ensuring compliance with project specifications and managing subcontractor operations.
