John Slagle

John Slagle is an experienced product line manager at Laird Technologies since May 2008, overseeing the Elastomer and Absorber product lines from market identification to product launch and growth, including P&L responsibilities. Slagle has successfully introduced the Commercial Absorber line, managed marketing and pricing strategies, and provided product training for sales channels. Prior experience includes serving as Engineering Manager at Alton Steel, where digitization of engineering prints and structural improvements were implemented, and working as an engineer at both Peterson Spring and Centrifugal & Mechanical Industries, focusing on spring design efficiency and centrifuge redesign. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, complemented by a B.S. in Business Administration from Southwest Baptist University.
