Mary Plummer

Mary Plummer is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in various editorial and reporting roles. Currently serving as Managing Editor for Enterprise at LAist since August 2022, Mary previously worked at inewsource from July 2019 to July 2022, where responsibilities included being an Audience Engagement Editor and Investigative Reporter, contributing stories to KPBS. At Southern California Public Radio from October 2011 to July 2019, Mary held multiple positions, including Editor, Correspondent for Politics, Education Reporter, and Associate Producer, overseeing news gathering and launching key reporting initiatives. Mary’s experience also includes roles at ABC News, where a fellowship at the London bureau was awarded, and work as a multimedia reporter for News21. With a Master's degree from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism and a Bachelor's from Chapman University, Mary Plummer has established a significant footprint in the field of journalism.
