Rona May L. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Rona May started their career as an All Level Educator at Saint. Jerome International School in 2000 and worked there until 2004. Rona May then moved on to Sta. Teresa College, where they worked as a Secondary/College Educator from 2004 to 2007. In 2009, they joined Virtify, Inc. as a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer, gaining experience in an Agile environment and collaborating in team planning and project requirements analysis. Rona May worked at Virtify, Inc. until 2015. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as an LSI Trainer - Online English Language Proficiency at the Technical Education Skills and Development Authority (TESDA). In 2016, they took on the role of School Administrator at Sunhill Montessori Casa and also worked as a Product Specialist/Trainer at E. Learning@Work Phils. Inc. until 2020. From 2018 to 2020, they held the position of VP for Academics at Sunhill Education System. Most recently, they joined Laivly as a Senior Software Quality Engineer in 2020.
Rona May L. completed their Bachelor of Secondary Education in English Language and Literature from Batangas State University, from 1996 to 2000. Rona May then pursued a Master of Education in Educational Management from the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA, which they completed from 2018 to 2021. In addition to their formal education, Rona May L. has obtained certifications in Secure Product Lifecycle 101 from Implementing Security LLC in February 2022 and Application Security Training from Laivly in April 2023.
