Lacey Simpson

Lacey Simpson, Ed.M., is currently serving as an Assistant County Administrator, where they lead complex strategic initiatives and special projects to support sustainable organizational change. They previously worked at Abbott as a Senior Instructional Designer in Quality Assurance, successfully managing cross-departmental projects and mentoring team members. Lacey also held various roles at Lake County, including Manager of Learning & Development and Human Resources Organizational Development Specialist, where they focused on training programs and leadership development. They earned both a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Master of Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
