Stephen Gray

Stephen Gray is an experienced finance and management professional currently serving as Chief Deputy for the Lake County Treasurer since January 2023. Prior to this role, Stephen held several key positions, including Senior Accounting Manager at McHenry County, where responsibilities included managing a $59 million ARPA Grant Program and assisting in budget and audit processes. Additional experience encompasses positions such as Vice President of the Board for Millburn School District 24, Customer Service Supervisor for the Village of Pingree Grove, and various roles in project management and client relations at Quill and Dovenmuehle Mortgage, Inc. Stephen holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Illinois Springfield and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Columbia College.
