A fun friendly atmosphere with a bit of an upscale feel. Our basic philosophy was to go back to “basics”, we make everything from scratch using all fresh ingredients, bake our own breads and desserts, and make all of our stocks. We pride ourselves on great food and friendly professional service.

At Lake Street we have 2 uniquely different dining rooms. The casual side is very colorful and bright while the Main Dining room is a bit more quaint with white linens and candles for ambiance. In staying with the casually formal feel our menu’s are all put in the front cover of old hard cover books that have been known to start a conversation at the table immediately. Our waitstaff use children’s books for their specials and general information for their tables. Over the years we have created quite an extensive wine list that has been recognized by the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence from 2003 to the present.
