Oz Katz is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at lakeFS since September 2019, where the focus is on creating an atomic, versioned data lake over object storage. Prior to this, Katz served as VP of R&D for Production Engineering at SimilarWeb from July 2015 to August 2019. Katz also co-founded Swayy, a personalized content curation platform, serving as CTO from July 2012 until its acquisition by SimilarWeb in July 2015. Earlier professional experiences include co-founding Ripplify as CTO from September 2011 to July 2012, working as a Software Engineer at TTI Telecom (TEOCO) from September 2007 to September 2011, and serving as a Systems Engineer in the IDF's 8200 unit from 2003 to 2006.
