Tal Sofer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management and software engineering. Currently serving as Product Manager and R&D Team Lead at lakeFS since March 2021, Tal previously held key leadership roles at Turbonomic from August 2015 to March 2021, including Manager of the Israel Cloud Excellence Center and as a software engineer responsible for significant cloud migration features. Additionally, Tal gained valuable insights as a software engineer intern at Turbonomic and served in the Israeli Defense Forces as a commander and instructor in the intelligence analysts course. Tal holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Asia studies from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and has furthered education at Beijing Language and Culture University.
