Alex Bashinsky

Alex Bashinsky is a compliance professional with extensive experience in trade compliance and sanctions advisory. From 2015 to 2019, Alex served as the Global Trade Compliance Manager at Pacific World Corporation, and subsequently held positions as the Head of Trade Compliance at Kubota Corporation from 2019 to 2022 and AVP - Sanctions Advisory at MUFG from 2022 to 2024. Currently, Alex is the Director of Trade Compliance at Lakeshore Learning Materials. Alex is pursuing multiple degrees, including a Master's in International Law from DePaul University and a Summer Semester in International Trade Law at Beijing Foreign Studies University, alongside studies at DePaul University College of Law and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
