Ellen Clark

Ellen Clark is an experienced professional in retail planning and buying, currently serving as Lead Planner at Lakeshore Learning Materials since April 2015, with previous roles as Senior Buyer and Buyer. Prior to that, Ellen worked at Meijer from December 2011 to December 2014 as a Merchandise Planner, focusing on Cookware & Gadgets and managing forecasts, sales, margin, and inventory. Ellen's earlier experience includes significant achievements at Borders Group Inc., where as Buyer/Planner, Ellen generated $100 million in sales for the Mystery/Thriller category in 2010 and successfully promoted lesser-known authors. Ellen began at Borders Group Inc. as an Assistant Buyer managing the Travel category for Waldenbooks, eventually becoming a Store Manager responsible for a 35-member staff and sales analysis. Ellen holds a B.S. in Physics from UC San Diego.
