Emily Champlin possesses extensive experience in the field of early childhood education and professional development. Starting as a Kindergarten and Pre K Teacher at Red Rock Elementary School from August 2014 to September 2018, Emily then served as an Education Programs Professional QRIS Administrator and later as an Education & Information Officer at the Nevada Department of Education from July 2019 to July 2022. Subsequently, Emily was the Education Programs Supervisor for Nevada Ready! State Pre K until March 2023, before transitioning to Lakeshore Learning Materials as a Professional Development Specialist in March 2023. Additionally, Emily held the role of Adjunct Instructor at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas for a brief period in early 2023. Emily began a career in education as an Early Childhood Educator with Teach For America from April 2012 to June 2014 and has prior experience as a receptionist at Red Rock Psychological Services. Emily holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, obtained between 2012 and 2014.
