Michael Issa

Michael Issa has held various leadership positions in engineering throughout their career. Michael is currently working as the Director of Engineering at Lakeshore Learning Materials, starting in 2023. Before this, they served as the Vice President of Engineering at Brown Jordan Inc. from 2022 to 2023. From 2018 to 2022, Michael worked as the Director of Engineering at Winpak, leading a $35M business unit within the packaging industry. Prior to that, they were the Director of Program Management at Jacuzzi Group Worldwide from 2016 to 2018, overseeing new product development for hot tub and bath and shower products. Michael also held the role of Director of Engineering at CIRCOR Aerospace & Defense from 2012 to 2016, where they managed a division in the Aerospace, Defense, and Energy Industries with revenues exceeding $80M. From 2010 to 2012, they served as the Director of Engineering - NPD at Fluidmaster, a global manufacturer of plumbing products. Additionally, Michael was the Director of Engineering at Dacor from 2004 to 2010, responsible for the development of luxury residential kitchen appliances. Michael started their engineering career as a Lead Certification Engineer at B/E Aerospace from 2001 to 2004 and as a Design and Stress Engineer at Pemco Engineers from 2000 to 2001. Michael began their career as an Aerospace Engineer at duPont Aerospace Co. Inc. from 1998 to 2000.

From 1994 to 1998, Michael Issa attended the University of Southern California, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering.
