Chen Chen

Chen Chen is a seasoned Product Engineer at Lam Research since July 2018, with a strong background in physical sciences and engineering. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Berkeley from November 2012 to May 2018, where Chen was responsible for the maintenance and daily operation of two scanning tunneling microscopes, gaining substantial troubleshooting skills through work with a complex home-built instrument. Additionally, Chen participated in a data science workshop through UC Berkeley's Career Development Initiative for the Physical Sciences in the summer of 2016, where foundational knowledge in data science and machine learning was acquired. Chen holds a Ph.D. in Physical Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, earned in 2018, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Peking University, completed in 2012.
