Ciaran Murphy

Ciaran Murphy is a seasoned professional in strategic commodity management with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as the Director of Strategic Commodity Management at Lam Research since August 2014, Ciaran has previously held roles including Senior Manager in the same field and Materials Program Manager at Celestica, where responsibilities included developing local suppliers and managing internal engineering. Prior experience involves roles at Brook Automation, managing supplier engineering in China and interfacing with customers on technical issues, as well as serving as a Manufacturing Engineer IV with responsibilities for manufacturing engineering on robotic lines. Ciaran holds a degree in Computer Aided Manufacturing from the Waterford Institute of Technology, earned from 1995 to 1999.
