Eugene Chiu is the Senior Director of IP Counsel at Lam Research, a position held since 2021, after serving as IP Counsel and Director within the same company from 2016 to 2018. Prior to joining Lam Research, Eugene practiced as an Associate at Latham & Watkins LLP, Desmarais LLP, and WilmerHale LLP between 2008 and 2016. Early in their career, Eugene was a Member of Technical Staff at Oracle from 2002 to 2005. Eugene holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and has Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
