Richard Wise is currently the Vice President at Lam Research, where they lead the patterning technology initiative within the CTO office. Previously, Richard served as a Technical Managing Director at Lam Research and as an IBM Distinguished Engineer, managing plasma etch programs. They hold a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston and have authored over 100 inventions in DRAM/CMOS plasma processing and integration, earning recognition as an IBM Master Inventor. Their expertise includes patterning and plasma process innovations and IP portfolio creation. Richard also contributed as a chair on the SPIE Committee.
