Saran Pidaparthy

Saran Pidaparthy is a Process Engineer III specializing in conductor etch at Lam Research since October 2022, contributing to the concept and feasibility team focused on enhancing memory and logic technology product lines. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Aide and Research Fellow at Argonne National Laboratory, where Saran developed advanced metrology approaches and published significant research in leading journals. Saran's background also encompasses research assistance at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, field engineering at Tokyo Electron US, and process engineering at Micron Technology, with demonstrated expertise in metrology and etch processes. Saran holds a PhD in Materials Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, an MS from Columbia University, and dual BS degrees in Materials Science and Mathematics from the University of Washington.
