Jon Gray

Jon Gray currently serves as the Associate Dean for the College of Education and Human Development at Lamar University, a position held since July 2023. With a robust background in academia, previously worked as an Instructional Professor and Instructional Associate Professor at the University of Houston from July 2013 to August 2023. Jon Gray has also held leadership roles, including Director at the Texas Association of College Teachers and Director of Curriculum & Instruction/Principal/Associate Principal at Stafford Municipal School District from June 2008 to June 2013. Earlier career contributions include serving as an Associate Professor & Graduate Coordinator at Sam Houston State University and an Assistant Professor at Lamar University. Jon Gray earned an Ed.D. in Education from the University of Houston and holds a M.S. in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, along with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Education from Tarleton State University.
