Luke Towery

Luke Towery is a Mechanical Engineering student at Georgia Institute of Technology, expected to graduate in 2025, with substantial experience in tooling design and additive manufacturing. Currently serving as a Tooling Design Co-op at Delta Air Lines, responsibilities include designing machining fixtures for turbofan jet engines and enhancing skills in GD&T. Previously, Towery designed and fabricated numerous additive tools for aircraft maintenance, introduced ergonomic handles for technicians, and developed inventory management systems. As a 3D Printing Master at the Georgia Tech Invention Studio, oversight of 32 printers and training of over 200 students were key roles. Additionally, Towery founded and presided over the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity chapter, significantly increasing membership and community service initiatives. Past experience also includes mechanical engineering work on PLC programs and research in assistive technologies for wheelchair users.
