Helen Parshall

Helen Parshall is an experienced communication professional with a strong background in journalism and digital media. Current role as Digital Director at Lambda Legal involves planning and developing content to enhance engagement and awareness of civil rights issues affecting LGBTQ+ individuals and those living with HIV. Previous positions include Communications Manager and Senior Communication Manager at AIDS United, as well as Digital Media Manager and Diversity & Inclusion Assistant at Human Rights Campaign. Additional experience includes reporting for Capital News Service and serving as an intern at The Washington Blade. Helen holds a Master's degree in Multi-platform Journalism from the University of Maryland College Park and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from St. Mary's College of Maryland, supplemented by studies at the University of Oxford. Active in the Bisexual Resource Center as a Board Member, Helen has demonstrated a commitment to advocacy and visibility for marginalized communities throughout a diverse career in communications.
