Michael Shutt

Michael Shutt is the Southern Regional Director at Lambda Legal, where they lead fundraising, operations, and community outreach in ten southeastern states. They have a strong background in organizational management and social justice advocacy, having previously served as Senior Director for Community at Emory University and Assistant Dean of Students at the University of Georgia, where they founded the first LGBT Resource Center in the University System of Georgia. Michael holds a Master of Public Administration from Michigan State University and is currently a PhD student in Student Affairs Administration at the University of Georgia.
