Tyler Shu is a Mechanical Engineering senior at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, actively pursuing a systems engineering internship at General Dynamics Mission Systems. Previously, Tyler served as president of Lambda Phi Epsilon, where they organized philanthropic events for the National Marrow Donor Program and aided in chapter expansion. Tyler has also gained valuable experience as a research assistant, synthesizing metal-polymer compounds, and as a summer engineering intern at J.F. White Contracting Co., where they contributed to significant infrastructure projects. In addition, Tyler volunteered as an assistant goalie coach and an assistant volleyball coach, demonstrating a commitment to community engagement and youth development.
