Serena has a background in Engineering Physics and has completed a PhD in the study of optical gain and nonlinear behaviors in liquid crystals. Serena has also worked as a visiting student at the University of Oxford and as an associate at Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche. Serena participated in a double Master degree program specializing in Photonics and Nanotechnology.
