Anton Takareuski

Anton Takareuski has a diverse range of work experience spanning several companies and roles. Starting with their current position at Lambda as a Solutions Engineer since May 2023, they are responsible for implementing and providing solutions for various engineering projects.

Prior to Lambda, Anton worked at Optum from December 2016 to April 2023. Anton held the positions of Principal Systems Engineer and Senior Systems Engineer during their tenure. In these roles, they gained expertise in testing and implementing Kubernetes platforms, architecting infrastructure solutions for hardware-accelerated workloads, and leading proof of concept IT infrastructure projects to support data engineering and data science initiatives.

Before joining Optum, Anton worked at Thomson Reuters from June 2013 to December 2016. Anton started as a Data Center Platforms Intern and later became a Systems Engineer - UNIX/Linux Data Center Platform Support. In this role, they performed various tasks such as planning, configuring, deploying, supporting, and maintaining Linux/UNIX servers globally. Anton also applied OS patches and upgrades regularly.

Anton's earliest work experience was at Fabcon Precast LLC, where they worked as a Production Foreman from July 2004 to January 2013.

Anton Takareuski completed their education with a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Information Technology Infrastructure from the University of Minnesota. Anton also pursued a Management Minor in IT Infrastructure Management from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Physics and Computer Technologies from Belarus State University in 2003.

In addition to their formal education, Anton obtained several certifications in various IT and cyber-related fields. These include the ITIL Foundation certification from Loyalist Certification Services in November 2013, the Digital Forensics Basics (AWR-139-W) certification from The Texas A&M University System in cooperation with the DHS/FEMA in April 2013, the Cyber Incident Analysis and Response (AWR-169-W) certification from the same institution in March 2013, the CCENT and CCNA certifications from Cisco in February and April 2013 respectively, and the Information Risk Management (AWR-177-W) and Information Security Basics (AWR-173-W) certifications from The Texas A&M University System in cooperation with the DHS/FEMA in February 2013.
