Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Lambda

Ben Kulp has a diverse work experience that spans across over two decades, with their most recent role being a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Lambda since 2022. Before this, they co-founded Burn These Records, a small record label, while in college in 1998. Ben designed record sleeves, engineered and mixed recordings for most releases, and oversaw the label's operations.

Ben also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland in 2005, supervising the administration of a survey to all incoming freshmen, analyzing the results using SPSS, and compiling them in a report form for the Provost's office and scholarly publication. Ben also worked as a Research Intern at the National Association for College Admission Counseling in the same year, where they conducted literature research, compiled an annotated bibliography of over 300 sources, and developed an organizational system for members to quickly locate relevant research.

Ben Kulp attended Knox College from 1997 to 2001 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine and Studio Arts. Ben went on to earn a Master of Arts degree in Higher Education Policy and Administration from the University of Maryland from 2004 to 2006. In 2014, they attended PDX Code Guild for a Junior Developer Bootcamp. No additional certifications were listed.
