Brian Elliott

Brian Elliott is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in cloud computing and satellite imagery technology. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at Planet since December 2018, Brian leads the search team to enhance the accessibility of satellite imagery for customers. Previous positions include Software Developer V and IV at Rackspace, where Brian contributed to private cloud solutions and OpenStack automation. As Managing Partner at Sparkle Software, LLC, Brian focused on innovative applications, and earlier roles included Technical Lead at Orbitz, Staff Engineer at Tellabs, and Software Engineer II at Mantaro Networks, where Brian developed software for VoIP systems. Brian holds a BA in Computer Science from Cornell University.
