Ioannis Yanos Angelopoulos

Ioannis (Yanos) Angelopoulos has a diverse range of work experience, spanning multiple companies and roles. Ioannis (Yanos) began their career as a Software Engineer at Allweb Solutions SA in 2014, where they designed and created a monitoring system for a photovoltaic park using JavaScript, Java, Python, and MySQL. In 2015, they worked at NCSR "DEMOKRITOS" as a Software Engineer, where they were responsible for deployment automation, system operation, and application deployment using OpenStack, Ansible, FreeNAS, Cobbler, Owncloud, Graylog, and Prometheus. Yanos then moved to GRNET - Greek Research & Technology Network in 2018 as a System Engineer, before joining Lambda in 2023 as a Linux Support Engineer.

Ioannis Angelopoulos earned a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Patras between 2006 and 2013. Ioannis (Yanos) later obtained certifications as a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) from The Linux Foundation in January 2021, and as a Certified OpenStack Administrator (COA) from the Open Infrastructure Foundation in May 2020.
