Simon Calvin

Simon Calvin has extensive work experience in software engineering and development. Their most recent role is as a Senior Software Engineer at Lambent since May 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Software Developer at Hogan Assessment Systems from August 2015 to April 2022, where they were responsible for the architecture and operation of a complex software-as-a-service system. At OpenLink Financial, Simon worked as a Senior Software Developer from February 2010 to July 2015, contributing new features to a flagship product and assisting in the improvement of the custom reporting framework. Simon also worked as a Software Development Consultant at Seminole Energy Services from March 2009 to December 2009, where they designed and developed a client-facing portal application. Simon acted as a Software Development Consultant at FW Murphy from May 2008 to March 2009, collaborating on the configuration of controller products and leading interface design efforts. Simon additionally worked as an Applications Developer at Waterfield Technologies from January 2008 to May 2008, taking ownership of consumer financial services products and mentoring team members in usability and interface design. Simon's earlier experience includes working as a Consultant at OakTree Software from November 2005 to January 2008, developing various products using the .NET framework, and as an Information Technology Intern at Occidental Petroleum in the summer of 1999.

Simon Calvin completed their Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Oklahoma between the years 2002 and 2005. Prior to that, between 1999 and 2002, they attended Oklahoma State University, also studying English. Additionally, Simon has obtained several certifications including Professional Scrum Product Owner I in April 2016, Professional Scrum Developer I in May 2014, and Professional Scrum Master I in November 2013.
