Don Hunt leads many of Lambert’s efforts in health care, life science and other complex business-to-business market segments. He has more than 25 years of experience in all facets of public and investor relations, and also handles the majority of the firm’s media training and crisis planning responsibilities.
Don has delivered meaningful, national-level results for a wide array of clients, ranging from national health systems to technology M&A firms and early stage drug development companies. He has also led investor relations, transactions communications and related strategic planning for companies of all sizes. A reporter by training, Don served as a technology columnist for the Chicago Tribune for nearly 10 years and his work has also appeared in the New York Times among other publications.
Don joined Lambert in 2000 after five years as director of communications for DP Fox Ventures, LLC, a Grand Rapids, Mich.-based business management and investment firm led by Dan DeVos, with interests in commercial and residential real estate, transportation and sports and entertainment. Prior to DP Fox, Don worked in the agency world as a consultant to companies including Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Whirlpool Corporation and the former Upjohn Company (now Pfizer).
Don currently serves on the board of the Association for Corporate Growth of Western Michigan, the Grand Rapids Symphony and West Michigan Make-A-Wish. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan.
