Joanne Lessner

Joanne Lessner is a Managing Director at Lambert New York, a position she has held since October 2004. She provides strategic communications counsel and coordinates media relations for Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE), Rehmann, Pontifax AgTech and New State Capital, and conducts media outreach and analysis for clients such as Gryphon Investors, The Halifax Group, Vestar Capital Partners, Indigo Partners, Tao Capital Partners, and Rockpoint Group.

Before joining the firm, Joanne was the Senior Media Manager at Miller DeMartine Group, where her clients included Guy Carpenter, PricewaterhouseCoopers Transaction Services and Zurich North America. Joanne began her public relations career at the corporate and financial public relations firm of Ogilvy Adams & Rinehart, where she worked from 1989 to 1996. Joanne holds a B.A. in Music, summa cum laude, from Yale University and is a regular contributor of reviews and features to Opera News.
