Mario Basile

Mario Basile has extensive experience in the automotive industry, currently serving as the Head of Concept Development at Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. since May 2010, where responsibilities include leading a team that evaluates stakeholder requirements and translates them into technical targets for vehicle projects. Prior roles at Lamborghini included Concept Development and Innovation Manager, where Mario established the Concept department, and Head of Package and Digital Mock Up, overseeing vehicle architecture and dimensional layout coordination. Before joining Lamborghini, Mario worked at PSA Peugeot Citroën, focusing on performance analysis in the Concept Phase and leading CAD data migration projects. Mario began his career as a Research Engineer and Assistant Professor at Université de Liège and a Stager at GD Tech. Mario holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
