Roy Perlot

Roy Perlot is the current CFO at Lami. Roy has over two years of experience in fast-tracking the growth trajectories of companies and helping to pioneer the African digital insurance space. Perlot is focused on the operations of the company, including commercial / legal / finance to enable the company to scale faster. Lami started with B2C of innovative, modern and digital insurance products in East-Africa and offers an API based B2B and B2B2C insurance platform as a service.

Prior to Lami, Perlot was a shareholder and owner at Global Premium Telecom (GPT), which is a leading voice provider of domestic premium rate services for various customers around the globe. GPT is the spin off of Telserv, and has been offering its services since 2000 in c. 40 countries.

Perlot has also served as the Director of Corporate Development at MessageBird and as a Board Observer at Telkom Kenya. Roy began their career as an Associate - EMEA at Exotix and then moved to Morgan Stanley as an Analyst. Perlot has also interned at Lazard Investment Bank and Gimv Private Equity.

Roy Perlot has a Master's degree from the Rotterdam School of Management in Finance and Investments, which they completed in 2012. Roy also has an MBA from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology in Finance, which they completed in 2010. Finally, they have a Bsc from the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen in Business Administration, which they completed in 2010.
