Gal Levy

Gal Levy has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Gal is currently working as a Senior Backend Engineer at Laminar since January 2023. Previously, they worked at Armis from August 2020 to January 2023, first as a Senior Vulnerability Researcher and then as a Vulnerability Research Team Lead. Gal gained valuable experience in vulnerability research and full chain exploits during this time.

Before joining Armis, Gal had a significant stint in the Israeli Military Intelligence - Unit 8200 from March 2015 to August 2020. Gal held various roles, including Embedded Systems Researcher, Embedded Software Engineer, and Cyber Security Specialist. Throughout these roles, they primarily focused on vulnerability research and full chain exploits.

Prior to their time in military intelligence, Gal served in the Israel Defense Forces' Psagot unit from October 2010 to October 2014.

Gal Levy attended Tel Aviv University from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained two Bachelor of Applied Science degrees. Gal completed a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and another in Physics.
